Lasse van Waegeningh

Lasse has been an attorney-at-law since 2003 and is a specialist in commercial real estate. In doing so, he focuses mainly on retail and other shopping spaces, offices, hotels/holiday parks, logistics centers and leisure spaces.

Lasse’s practice focuses on the leasing and letting, purchase and sale, ownership, management and operation of such spaces and the (re)financing of existing or yet to be developed real estate. In these areas he acts as an advisor, litigator, negotiator and mediator for, among others, Dutch and foreign (real estate) investors, (end) users, project developers, (re)financiers of real estate, property managers and intermediaries.

Lasse studied law at Utrecht University, after which he conducted his practice in Amsterdam from 2003 to 2018. Since 2018, he has been doing so from Utrecht. Among other things, Lasse attended the postgraduate specialization course in Real Estate at the Grotius Academy.

Lasse van Waegeningh has registered the following principal (and secondary) legal practice areas in the Netherlands Bar’s register of legal practice areas (rechtsgebiedenregister):

  • Tenancy law;
  • Real estate law.

Based on this registration, he is required to obtain ten training credits per calendar year in each registered principal legal practice area in accordance with the standards set by the Netherlands Bar.

In addition to his greatest passion the legal profession, he boxes (recreationally) and runs. Lasse is married and has a son of 12 years old.
